PAGOP Act 77 Review On Election Integrity

Shortly after the 2020 November Election, Chairman Tabas appointed a committee to examine items in Act 77 that may require legislative action to protect the integrity of our elections. Following discussions with County Boards of Election personnel, County Commissioners, poll watchers, and Election District officials, the Chairman’s Act 77 Review Committee drafted a list of recommendations which were shared with the state legislature, and will also be shared with county commissioners who have the power to address Act 77 issues at the county level.

The State Senate is expected to release its report on or about the second week of June. The PAGOP Act 77 Review Committee’s final recommendations will be released to you shortly thereafter.
